This policy explains how trials, cancellations, and refunds work for SIGNAL subscriptions.

Merchant of Record. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles billing inquiries, invoices, payment methods, and refund processing where a refund applies. Prefer Paddle’s buyer portal (paddle.net or the “Manage subscription” / “Manage transaction” link in your receipt email) for billing actions.

This policy works together with our Terms of Service and Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.

1. Plans and trial

SIGNAL offers monthly plans (Builder USD $79.99, Founder USD $179.99, Studio USD $449.99 — as shown on the pricing page, subject to tax and future price changes with notice).

New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial that requires a card (payment method) on file. During the trial:

2. Cancellation (anytime)

You may cancel anytime:

How to cancel

  1. Use the Paddle Customer Portal via the link in your Paddle confirmation email, or visit paddle.net; and/or
  2. In SIGNAL, open Billing and select “Manage or cancel subscription”; and/or
  3. Email benbarlev.business@gmail.com and we will help point you to the correct Paddle cancellation path.

3. Refunds after the trial is billed

Seller policy: Once the 7-day trial ends and the first (or any subsequent) paid charge is successfully billed, SIGNAL does not offer discretionary refunds for change of mind, unused time, or partial months. The subscription remains active until the end of the already-paid period; cancel to stop the next renewal.

Exception — where required by applicable consumer law:
If the law of your country (for example certain EU/UK/EEA consumer withdrawal rules, or other non-waivable rights) requires a refund or withdrawal right for your transaction, that law prevails. In those cases, request the refund through Paddle (Merchant of Record) as described below. Paddle and SIGNAL will honour mandatory rights. Statutory windows and conditions vary by country and may depend on whether you consented to immediate digital service delivery; see Paddle’s Refund Policy for territory-specific detail.

We do not use “all sales are final” language that would override mandatory law.

4. How to request a refund (when eligible)

  1. Go to paddle.net → request a refund / withdrawal for the relevant transaction; or use the support link on your receipt; or
  2. Email Paddle buyer support through the channels listed on paddle.net; and
  3. Optionally CC benbarlev.business@gmail.com so we can help with product-side access questions.

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method where possible, on Paddle’s timelines. If a refund is issued, access to SIGNAL for that subscription may end.

5. Defects and service issues

If a material defect prevents you from using SIGNAL as described, contact benbarlev.business@gmail.com first so we can fix it. If the issue cannot be resolved, contact Paddle for a refund request under applicable law / Paddle’s defect rules.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact Paddle or us before filing a chargeback — it is usually faster. Unfounded chargebacks may lead to suspension while investigated, as described in Paddle’s buyer terms.

7. Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version. The version in effect at the time of your transaction applies to that charge, except where law requires otherwise.
